Dr. Eytan Debbi is a hip and knee replacement surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery, and one of a handful of orthopedic surgeons anywhere with a doctorate in biorobotics, biomechanics and mechanical engineering.
Born and raised in New York, Dr. Debbi graduated from Yale University summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with honors in Biology and Biotechnology. He earned his MD at the top of his class and completed a PhD in biorobotics at the Technion Institute of Technology. He trained in orthopedic surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and completed his fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement at HSS.
Before returning to HSS, Dr. Debbi led a successful hip and knee replacement practice at Cedars-Sinai. His research focuses on implant design, computer navigation and surgical robotics, with 69+ peer-reviewed publications and invited lectures nationally and internationally.
